The protagonist is a talented architect. He seems to be very eligible to women - good reputation for his work, good income, and good looks - only if he doesn't speak and show his character. He is so cynical, self-righteous and opinionated. Any woman who dates with him gets fed up with his attitude and leaves. Now he's turned to 40, he believes he doesn't need love or marriage but sometimes he feels lonely. Tghen he and his friends start to ask themselves what marriage is all about and what sort of marriage would be a happy one for them.
