A man and a woman are on the studio, hearing each other’s voices but separated by a curtain and unable to see other’s faces. Each side builds up an image of the other side based on the host’s questions, audience’s reactions ant the other side person’s voice. With the call to “Meet face-to-face!”, the curtain is lifted and the two meet for the first time which is the exciting moment. As they mesh their perceived image with the actual person, they gradually come to the final decision: Whether they press the “OK! Let’s date!” button or not!
With a simple structure and universal concept, this monumental dating show has been broadcast 585 episodes in 12 years. A Vietnamese version has been broadcast on Ho Chi Minh TV since 2013.
