In our program, we follow two sets of grandparents living in Japan, who decide to travel to New York and Melbourne to make a surprise visit to their long missed grandchildren. Funny, touching and absolutely endearing, our cameras capture the excitement and anxieties of the grandparents as they set off for the trip of their lives.

This program not only makes us want to see more of our loved ones, but also sends a positive message to the elderly, to actively enjoy more of life: travel more, make a bucket list, have an adventure! It won the Excellence Prize in the Japan Commercial Broadcasters Association Awards in 2015
