Haruko is a single, 34-year-old “BL” (boys’ love) manga artist. She is BL fan, or someone who is overly-enthusiastic about male-on-male romance. Although flourishing professionally, she’s so far from love in her private life that she’s even forgotten how to talk to men. One day, Haruko hears that her friend from high school, a fellow BL fan, is happily married. Suddenly, Haruko, feeling uneasy about her own future, determines that she too should get married! Spurred on by her assistant, Kiriko, she soon starts taking part in mixers. However, for Haruko, it is di¬ffcult to tell the opposite sex that she has chosen BL not only as a mere hobby but also as her profession.
