Six ex-convicts join a “Special Support Program” led by Katō, promising reintegration into society with financial aid for those who reform. Initially distrustful, they begin to bond through shared activities. Itsuki Takamura is approached by Subaru, who suggests teaming up to pass the program. Subaru, who blinded a painter during a robbery, shows no real remorse and soon disappears, later found dead with burns on his eyes. The program is revealed to be a trap, monitored by victims seeking justice. As the participants form genuine bonds and reflect on their pasts, the victims also reconsider their desire for revenge, questioning if forgiveness might be more meaningful.
