Chiharu worked for a major advertising agency after graduating college but quit in less than three years due to being overworked and harassed by her boss. With her confidence and hope for a career crushed, she went unemployed for a while. When she finally decided to start job hunting, she told herself she’d “work in any industry, at any company,” and joined a recruitment agency run by her Aunt Yoko.
Upon arriving at the agency, she hears a sudden commotion from the interview booth. “I’ll kill you！” the man shouts, apparently furious with the attitude of his career advisor. Unphased, the career advisor simply replies, “Go for it. Kill me if you want, but then you’d be a murderer. Do you think many companies out there want to hire a killer with a short fuse？”
Chiharu is astonished at what she sees and learns from Aunt Yoko that this is the genius career advisor Arashi, also known as “The Devil of Career Change,” who leads job seekers one after another to new job offers. Chiharu then is informed that Arashi will be overseeing her career change…
