These men are NEETs, a term commonly used to refer to young people Neither in Education, Employment, nor Training. They live in the secluded mountains of Wakayama, Japan. They earn their keep by working short-term jobs and by helping out people in the community. They don’t receive welfare. They pay their taxes and national health insurance fees. This well-arranged documentary shows the life stories of three NEET young men, Ishii, Yoshii and Jo, and their supporter Nishimura.. How they left the environment they once belonged to, came into the mountains and found it the only place where they can be themselves.
